I hail from an Indian background, I budge by the rules of any religion. I have my own rules and views and my family and relatives always criticized me for that and I was told a lot of times to pray to God. I have come across stoic philosophy not until recently and this article is so amazingly written. Thanks for so much insight and the way it is explained out is relatable. My God as I believe and feel is in the science of reason and thought. Few people call it knowledge, few call it IQ, few make it a hobby. But that is my lifestyle. And I believe many of the rules I follow for myself intuitively reflect stoic philosophy and I’m so happy that stoicism does not tell us to worship a particulate God or deity.

Rather I feel it is a lifestyle of thinking we all should adopt so that ignorance loses its way among humanity.

I would like to thank you for this article and I absolutely loved it. Humans need insights and perspectives like these. It’s what makes one wiser.
